FALL BALL RULES

NO NEW INNING WILL START AFTER 90 MIN

1. Official Softball Canada Rules will govern unless otherwise written below.

2. Practices are from 5:30pm to 7pm.

3. 5 max runs per inning.

4. Everyone bats and unlimited substitution.

5. Borrow players from the other team to make enough to play, this is about playing ball and having fun. Team can play with 7 players.

6. Decisions of the Umpires IS FINAL, and they are learning too. BE KIND!!

7. This is Fall Ball league, and it is to help improve all players. Coaches to provide equal playing time for all players.

8. U11 (important rules) – Infield fly rule does NOT apply. The batter is out on 3rd Strike (no advancing to 1st on dropped a 3rd Strike). Runners may leave the base when the ball has crossed the plate. Players cannot advance to home on a steal, passed ball or wild pitch.

9. U13 (important rules) – The batter is out on 3rd strike (no advancing to 1st on dropped 3rd strike). Runners may leave the base when the ball has left the pitcher’s hand. Players can steal home.

10. Pitching/catching Rules

· Pitchers/Catchers in the U11 may only pitch 3 innings per game and catchers only 3 innings per game. If a pitcher/catcher pitches or catches 1 pitch to a batter it will constitute 1 inning pitched.

· Pitchers/Catchers in the U13 may only pitch 4 innings per game and catchers only 4 innings per game. If a pitcher/catcher pitches or catches 1 pitch to a batter it will constitute 1 inning pitched.

· Pitchers/Catcher for U15/U17 may only pitch 4 innings per game, and catcher are unlimited.
